You might ask, what do Americans do when abroad to celebrate the 4th? Well, we have a picnic of course! Although not a traditionally recognized day here, on Monday afternoon we will be having a very special reunión, or meeting, with our host families and students at the local park, Monte de San Isidro. Our students and staff have been working hard to prepare for a wonderful event filled with culture, history and lots of good food. On behalf of Equipo León 2011 and all the students, I would like to wish everyone back home a happy and safe 4th of July!
